GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE AND LOCAL CONTEXT

Carl Gustaf and Ulla Trägårdh founded Trägårdh & Trägårdh Law Firm in the early 1980s. Located in Malmö, Lilla Torg (Little Square), it merged in 1988 with Dr. Philip Lemans Law Firm in Gothenburg, one of Sweden’s oldest and most legendary law firms.

An additional merger in 1990 produced Lagerlöf & Leman Law Firm, which was among the country’s largest law firms at the time.

Lagerlöf & Leman Law Firm was a member of the Alliance of European Lawyers, whose formation in the 1990s marked the beginning of an historic internationalization process.

An alliance with Linklaters & Paines in England led to a merger under the name of Linklaters, a world-leading commercial law firm, in 2001.

Continuing the Linklaters’ specialization in real estate transactions and insolvency law, Trägårdh & Falkenborn Law Firm was founded in 2004, opening offices in both Stockholm and Malmö. Ola Sellert, president of Ackordscentralen in Sweden, joined the firm a few years later. Since 2010, the Malmö office has run the business under the name of Trägårdh Law Firm.

In January 2017 Trägårdh merged with Glimstedt law firm in Lund, which meant that Trägårdh doubled its Human Resources and strengthened its position in the region. Ola Sellert and Patrik Kalman at Trägårdh Advokatbyrå formed a new partnership with Charlotte Andersson and Martin Gynnerstedt from Glimstedt in Lund and further partners have followed thereafter.

The extensive experience and skills of our legal staff and consultants enable us to build and refine a strong, independent commercial law team backed by a flat organizational structure, rapid decision-making processes, and high-quality services.

Welcome to Trägårdh Law Firm!
