For us at Trägårdh, sustainability is an important, natural part of our operations as we all have a shared responsibility for a sustainable future. We therefore aim to operate in a responsible manner, taking the environment, society and individuals into consideration. Our sustainability work is based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and we have decided to focus in particular on the goals of decent work and economic growth, gender equality, good health and well-being and quality education.
Sustainability is a permanent aspect of our legal advice as our clients are important actors in the local, national and global communities. In addition to face-to-face meetings, we therefore offer our clients advice via digital media and work actively to maintain a high level of technical solutions.
Our advice permits us to contribute to economic growth, support new and established companies and help employers ensure that they offer their employees decent working conditions. Several of our employees also hold directorships, allowing them to use their specialist expertise to contribute to the long-term development of companies.
Trägårdh also takes charge of company reconstructions to help companies out of financial crisis, which promotes economic growth and saves jobs. When company reconstruction is not appropriate, we act instead as the receiver in bankruptcy. Our main task there is to minimise the financial loss suffered by creditors.
As part of our sustainability work, Trägårdh has decided to have offices in environmentally certified buildings to reduce our climate impact. We also work to ensure an equal society in which everyone is entitled to quality education and well-being. Consequently, we participate in various mentoring programmes, offer work experience, give lectures at schools and universities and support various associations, organisations and projects.
At Trägårdh, we take an active approach to sustainability internally. We safeguard gender equality and equal treatment and ensure that our employees thrive and have a high level of well-being. We always strive to offer a reasonable workload and to ensure employees have time for recovery and physical activity.
